Office 2010的公开测试版上周已经发布，近日微软也公开提供了Office Web Apps的下载，这是Office 2010的Web版本，也是Office有史以来首次开发提供的在线版本。Office Web Apps包括在线版的Word 2010、Excel 2010、PowerPoint 2010和OneNote 2010。

Office Web Apps的Beta测试版目前仅提供了七种语言版本，包括简体中文、英语、法语、德语、日语、俄语和西班牙语，支持Windows Server 2008、Windows Server 2008 R2、Windows Server 2008 SP2操作系统。

Office Web Apps在硬件方面的要求也不低：64位双核处理器、3GHz，80GB硬盘，Standalone模式4GB RAM，Farm模式8GB RAM，软件方面要求系统已安装SharePoint Foundation Server或SharePoint Server。Office Web Apps支持的浏览器包括：Windows平台IE7、IE8，Mac平台Safari 4，Windows、Linux和Mac平台Firefox 3.5及更高版本。
